LMAO! North Korea's internet is down. You go, USA!

If you've been following the Sony, North Korea and the US government saga then you should know what this is about. But let me give a brief summary because I'm about to board a flight.

Sony Pictures released a movie called The Interview, a comedy about a fictional assassination of North Korean leader, Kim Jong Un.. North Korean didn't find it funny and hacked into Sony's computers, rendering thousands of computers inoperable and forced Sony to take its entire computer network offline.

Explosion rocks Bauchi state Central market

Many people died today after a bomb went off at the Central market in Bauchi state, few hours after a bomb explosion ripped a motor park in Gombe state killing at least 20 people. The bomb happened around 5.30pm. Number of casualties is unknown at this time.

Winners and Losers from Champions League Draw

The draw for the Champions League play-off round took place in Nyon, Switzerland on Friday, where participants discovered who stands in their way to the group stages.
Previous finalists Arsenal, FC Porto and Bayer Leverkusen were all included in the draw, while smaller clubs such as Maribor and Slovan Bratislava were dreaming of a route into the lucrative first round.

Ebola: Catholic Church suspends ‘sign of peace’, Anglican primate suspends handshake













As the fear of the spread of Ebola sweeps across Nigeria, Catholic churches in Lagos have suspended the 'sign of peace' where the congregation shake hands during mass. While some Anglican churches have suspended handshakes during communion.
The Archbishop of Lagos Adewale Martins released a statement yesterday saying that while the handshakes have been suspended, Catholic priests should continue the traditional hand to mouth method of given Holy Communion for now, but asked the priest to make sure their hands don't touch the tongues of the recipient.

Ebola declared an 'international emergency'

WHO says Ebola outbreak in West Africa could get worse and urges international community to provide urgent support.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has declared the Ebola outbreak in West Africa to be an international public health emergency that requires an extraordinary response to stop its spread.WHO declared similar emergencies for the swine flu pandemic in 2009 and for polio in May.The WHO chief, Dr Margaret Chan, said the announcement on Friday is "a clear call for international solidarity" but acknowledged that many countries would probably not have any Ebola cases.
